‘Redruth in Lights'
1000 : Redruth Town Council’s Grotto will open its doors for the first time, welcoming children to meet Father Christmas at the Redruth Community Centre.
1100 : The Redruth Wassail begins with the handover of the Wassail Bowl in the library.
1230 : The Market along Fore Street opens, packed with a mix of stalls that provide the perfect Christmas shopping opportunity.
1600 : An opportunity to learn Christmas carols and the Redruth Wassail song in St Rumons Gardens
1645 : The Lantern Parade sets off
The parade route is as follows: Fore Street past the Miner statue, into Shoot Row and through Flowerpot car park where the parade ends.
1730 : The Redruth Christmas Lights will be switched on from near the Miner Statue by a very special guest!
Afterwards, there will be opportunities to watch the Redruth Wassail tour around town until it finishes at 1845 in the Buttermarket.
There will also be time to browse the Christmas Market which ends at 1830 and of course, meet Father Christmas!
