Cornwall women’s recreational vets football league launch

A new initiative, backed by Cornwall FA, which recognises the need for a flexible playing option for ladies who are over 35 or who are unable to commit to weekly league fixtures. Tournament style events will take place once a month in various locations and teams are able to enter as many or as few tournaments as they are able. Matches will be 7 a side and events will last roughly 4 hours (depending on numbers). A trophy will be awarded to the winning team at each monthly event. Individual players without a team are welcome to turn up and will be allocated a team for that event.
