Reds on the road this weekend

Saturday will be Redruth's first ever visit to Loughborough and the first of 5 matches this season to be played on a 3G pitch.

The Students are having a decent season sitting in mid-table having won 4 and drawn 2 of their 12 matches.

This leaves them in 8th place with 34 points, with a +3 points difference.

Similarly to the Exeter University team you never know what team you are likely to face with the students.

At full strength they can challenge the best sides, examples of this are a draw with Hinckley and narrow defeats against Leicester Lions and Clifton.

Conversely they have also struggled at times losing at Barnstaple and drawing against Bournville.

The students kicker is Thomas Smith (Fly-Half) who has 77 points and their top try scorers are Charles Cadogan (winger) and Timothy Hoyt (prop) both on 5 tries.

The Reds will be looking to bounce back after last weeks disappointing 2nd half against high flying Clifton who looked to be the best team the Reds have faces this season.

Redruth are now in 5th place with 41 points and have a +175 points difference. Clifton move into 2nd place only 1 point behind Leicester Lions who have a game in hand, but are likely to be awarded a walkover win over Stourbridge who couldn't raise a side last Saturday.
