Cornwall Rugby League on the road this weekend

Cornwall head coach Mike Abbott has announced his 21-man squad for Sunday’s Betfred League 1 clash away to league leaders Dewsbury Rams.

New signing Ewan Badham goes straight into the travelling party after his loan move from divisional rivals Rochdale Hornets was rubber stamped yesterday (Thursday).

He takes the place of Cornish prop Brad Howe who is set for a spell in the sidelines with a hand injury.

Thankfully, though, every member of Abbott’s squad who was involved in the defeat to Doncaster last Saturday, will make the trip to Yorkshire.

There is also a return to the fold for powerhouse centre Tom Ashton after he became a father for the third time earlier this week.

Cornwall: (from) Aaronson, Ashton, E Badham, I Badham, Bodman, Boase, Bolger, Boots, Brown, Carter, Collins, Cullen, Dimech, Lloyd, Mitchell, Nichol, Ray, Rusling, Singleton, Trerise, Whitton.
