Boosting Tech Recruitment in the South West through Skills for Life Bootcamps

BIT Training are on a mission to fill their latest round of funded IT and Cyber Skills for Life Bootcamps in Devon and Cornwall to help bolster the South-West region’s tech capabilities.

This programme will equip trainees with top-tier IT and Cyber training to supply the South-West job market or internally upskill with highly skilled and industry-ready professionals. 

Scheduled to commence on 29th April 2024, the IT and Cyber Skills for Life Skills Bootcamps continue to fill the regional tech industry’s demand for high-calibre tech skills and technical expertise. Notably, these candidates will be available for hiring without associated recruitment fees upon completion. Open to residents aged 19+ in Devon or Cornwall, these Skills for Life Bootcamps blend learning with real-world experience. Delivered by industry experts, these commercial Skills for Life Bootcamps transcend conventional ‘tickbox learning,’ ensuring that trainees exit with coveted British Computer Society, CompTIA, ITIL, and CertNexus internationally recognised certifications. 

The IT industry’s pressing challenge today is the skills gap that needs immediate attention. One region acutely affected by this gap is the South West, where companies in Devon and Cornwall are actively seeking qualified talent to fill vital early career positions.
