St Austell Brewery has announced a year-long partnership with renowned endurance athlete Nick Butter and the immersive running retreat company he founded - Run Weekends.

The Eden Project will welcome visitors for a special free Community Weekend on January 24 – 25, 2026, offering an energising blend of wellbeing activities, tours and chocolate tasting centred in and around the tropical sights and sounds of the Rainforest Biome. The weekend shines a spotlight on the extraordinary country of Costa Rica – one of the world’s most biologically diverse destinations in the world.

After a busy and magical festive season at Theatre Royal Plymouth (TRP), the charity has announced that its Festive Appeal 2025, has raised a record-breaking £42,689.94. This is an increase of more than 78% from last year’s total of £23,900. It also raised a further £12,240 from the Big Give Christmas Challenge and £1,365 from a pantomime-inspired Crowdfunder.
