Devon and Cornwall Police have launched an appeal after a 14‑year‑old boy was assaulted in Cornwall.

A young boy and his friends will be taking on a 5k bike ride around Penrose Estate in Helston next month to raise funds for a local charity.

They have saved lives, been first on scene when emergencies unfold, and offered calm reassurance to beachgoers – and this week, Cornwall’s RNLI lifeguards are being celebrated for the impact they’ve made over the past 25 years.
